CILSS and USAID/WA are looking for a consultant to elaborate the CILSS 2011/2012 work program and a long term strategy for collaboration with USAID/WA.

CILSS and USAID are requesting for a competent, experienced, broad-based management specialist, with technical expertise in food security and agriculture and NRM, preferably within the West Africa context. The consultant must have experience with project design and conceptualizing regional frameworks ; excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, especially in multi-cultural settings ; and strong technical writing and strategic planning skills. The consultant will be expected to provide development assistance strategies, policy analysis and reform ; CILSS medium term 2011/2015 strategic plan in line with the Feed the Future and ECOWAP/CAADP ; CILSS 2011/2012 detailed work program and budget including appropriate indicators and benchmarks. The specialist will report directly to the CILSS AOTR and will work off-site, coming to the Mission only for meetings ( For more details please consult the SOW attached).
